Jimmy Dillon is a native Bay Area guitarist who came up playing everywhere Mill Valley to Europe, back down Cuba, and all around the globe. Known for his fiery blend of rock, blues, R and B, and global influences, Jimmy has shared stages and studios with legends like Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker, and many more. After years of relaxing and playing in Maui Hawaii, Jimmy recently relocated to Santa Cruz and is laying down new roots in the local musical community. He loves the warm vibe at The Ugly Mug and is excited to light up the room with his signature mix of rock n roll soul and swagger.
He is joined by two world class musicians...
Steve Robertson brings more than 25 years of Bay Area performing, recording, and teaching experience. Trained at San Jose State, Steve is known for his versatility in jazz and global styles and has worked with artists ranging from Bobby Hutcherson to Airto and Flora Purim.
Marcus Johnson, a longtime Maui based bassist originally from Wisconsin, has spent more than forty years performing and recording with top jazz and popular artists worldwide. His feel, tone, and groove make him a perfect fit for this trio.
