Join Dave Holodiloff’s “Hot Club Holo” acoustic string ensemble for a very intimate and exciting "Gypsy Jazz" Friday night program of classic Hot Club Swing standards, Bolero, Bossa, and even some originals to celebrate the music and legacy of the great Django Reinhardt! Enjoy classic Manouche Swing featuring acoustic strings and some amazing food and drinks on Friday January 22nd 2027!
Jazz guitar maestro Lex Olsen adds some serious wizardly razzle-dazzle, Dan Robbins pumps the bass fiddle, Peter Mellinger echoes Stephane Grappelli-esque melodies of yesteryear, and Dave's proprietary blend of the 8 string jazz mandolin and vocals seals the deal...the show's repertoire will consist of Django's classic Manouche Swing, Gypsy Bossa, beautiful ballads, and maybe even a Hot Club Swing influenced original or two;)
This is a not to be missed musical celebration by Monterey Bay's hottest acoustic all star string band paying homage to the music and legacy of one of the greatest musicians of all time, the one and only Django Reinhardt. Fans of acoustic musical entertainment, jazz, and quality vibes will enjoy the evening!
