Underground Santa Cruz singer-song writer Chevy D has returned with a haunting selection of new music.

In contrast to the melt-your-face dynamics of his garage-shred bands (D.X.G.S., Mondo Chaga, Sweets Dendro), Chevy's solo music is lyrical and unabashed.  His new collection of songs is inspired - among many things - by the multitude of cracks in the pavement, the howling street dogs of the night, and the wandering names lost or soon to be found of his hometown. Chevy is back performing his off-the-counter folk songs, little rock dittys, and sweet ballads of love and lust. Accompanied by Old Tree Ex?erience, this will be an evening of wonderful original Santa Cruz music, of celebration and gifts, and of good coffee and brew.  We all hope you will join us for this special evening.

Doors open at 6:30p, cafe is general seating. Beer, coffee, tea and cafe food will be available. Check out our neighbor restaurants for dinner before the show.
