Rupert Wates is English but has been called "a prime figure in American music" -Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange. A full-time musician since the 90's, he came to the US in 2006 after a 5-year stint in Paris, which included his own jazz group. He now splits his time, when not on the road playing (120 performances a year), between NY City and Colorado
Rupert's music is folk with jazz and cabaret influences. All of his many CDs have received very positive reviews. The quality of his writing is clearly demonstrated by the fact that many other performers have covered his material, including two tribute CDs devoted entirely to his songs. He has twice been voted "artist of the year" by theInternational House Concert Network (concertsinyourhome.com), and has won over 40 songwriting and performing awards. https://rupertwatesmusic.com/

Long time local musician, Glenn MacPherson is originally from Rhode Island. He was chosen as a 1997 New Folk Finalist for the Kerrville, Texas, Folk Festival. His debut CD, MR.FIX-IT MAN, was released in August of 1996 and received a "TOP 10" mention on the Internet Folk DJ List. He's been recognized many times for Best Song and Best Performance by the Northern California Songwriters Association, and for songwriting by the Sisters (Oregon) Folk Festival. He is also an excellent guitarist, both acoustic and electric, and, as such, is a "go to" guy for local groups as well as having his own jazz group.
