Stevie Coyle was inspired to take up finger-picking guitar by the first Hot Tuna album.  After degrees in Theatre and Theology he hit the road with The Royal Lichtenstein Circus, doing comedy, magic, wire-walking, sword-swallowing, and juggling. He collaborated with Roy Zimmerman for 25 years, including the folk tribute / parody band, The Foremen, and comedy duo, The Reagan Bros. In 1999 he co-founded The Waybacks and toured with them through 2007. Then came his stints as lead guitar for Houston Jones and after that as one half of The Quitters, with Glenn Houton. He now concentrates on his own high-end acoustic guitar shop, Mighty Fine Guitars, in Lafayette, CA.www.steviecoyle.com

Walter Strauss is known for his innovative approach to the guitar, blending contemporary gusto with elements of ancient global music traditions. Strauss has performed globally, solo and in cross-cultural collaborations, at venues such as the Celtic Connections festival in Scotland and Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, CA. His work includes collaborations with Grammy-winning kora player Mamadou Diabate and guitar virtuoso Alex de Grassiwww.walterstrauss.com
