Possibly the finest and most diverse banjo player in the UK, as well as being a superb singer, songwriter and guitarist, Dan Walsh has been described as 'the real deal' (UNCUT magazine). He has three critically acclaimed solo albums, and a new one just released. As well as many tours of the UK, he also has recent successful trips to Canada, Germany, India, Norway New Zealand, and the US to his credit. Having made his name with duo Walsh and Pound and now a member of the award winning Urban Folk Quartet, this unique and eclectic young musician has delighted audiences across the world, and has had millions of U-Tube hits. At the heart of his music are British, Irish and American folk tunes, mixed with doses of funky grooves, humour, socially relevant lyrics and his own dazzling take on clawhammer banjo style.
